Machining

HORIZONTAL BORING — CNC & CONVENTIONAL

Machining capability — heavy, medium and light component parts. Sizes up to 4.5m x 2.4m x 1.8m can be machined with maximum weight 15 tons.

VERTICAL BORING — CNC & CONVENTIONAL

Machining capability — heavy, medium and light component parts. CNC component range — sizes up to 2m diameter x 1.8m height with max weight 6 tons can be machined.

Conventional component range — sizes up to 3.5m in diameter x 2m height with max weight 10 tons can be machined.

TURNING — CNC & CONVENTIONAL

Machining capability — heavy, medium and light component parts.
CNC component range (medium to light) — sizes up to 310mm in diameter and 1m between centres.
Conventional component range (heavy, medium and light) — sizes up to 720mm in diameter and 5m between centres.

Machining capability within Mitchell Engineering has developed over a number of years and has been enhanced by the addition of new CNC Machines.
